You may complain about them sometimes. You may say that you wish they would do more, but if you are being honest, they do quite a bit.
This week is all about those dads.
Although they may get on your nerves sometimes it is still important to celebrate them with the kids this week and what better way than with some Father’s Day crafts.
Father’s day is an opportunity for you to show your appreciation to your right-hand man. It is also a time to be an example for your children.
Teach them how to care for others, think about what others would like, and how to show appreciation.
Here are a few Father’s Day crafts you can do with your kids to show the dad in your life how much you appreciate them.

Worksheet
Use this worksheet to let your kiddos color and think about all their favorite things about dad. It is easy, meaningful, and the perfect finishing touch to Father’s Day.
Best Dad Award
Keep it simple and have the kids gift their dad with the best dad award. All you need is some paper plates, ribbon, paint or markers, and decorations.
Let the kids have full creative control over this one, it is from them anyway right ;).
You could also have your kids write a sweet note on the inside of the plate or simply sign their names.
Favorite Things About Dad
What is something your husband loves to hear? How about all the things he is good at. Everyone loves to hear they are good at something but especially dads.
Have your children paint some popsicle sticks. Again, give them full creative control. Let them dry overnight.
Ask your kiddos what they love most about dad. What makes them laugh, what makes them happy, what makes them feel loved, what makes them feel safe, etc.
If your kids are old enough they can write these things on the popsicle stick or you can take notes and write these things for them.
You will end up with a collection of Our Favorite Things About Dad. Place these popsicle sticks in a special jar or cup and he can draw from them whenever he is needing a bit of encouragement.

Dad’s Favorites
No one knows your husband better than you and your kids. There is no perfect gift guide for all dads. Some love to cook and grill, some love to watch sports, some love to play video games, and so on.
